21st EFORT Congress Vienna, Austria 10 - 12 June 2020
Best National Paper presentation
Dear National Presidents,
Dear Secretary Generals and National Delegates,
In the year 2020, the 21st EFORT Congress will take place in Vienna, Austria from 10 - 12 June.
In this occasion, and for the first time, EFORT will present the Best National Paper session as part of its congress scientific programme. This initiative aims at increasing the involvement of our National Member Societies in the scientific content building. Indeed, the participation of active collaborators from your society in this new, featured abstract-based session is of highest importance.
We are therefore pleased to invite your society to select “the best national paper” of your 2019 annual congress or from any similar meeting your society holds. If you have no national meetings upcoming this year, you may choose to set up another specific selection process.
All Best National Papers submitted to EFORT will be accepted for presentation in Vienna. From our side, the unique mandatory requirement is that the paper corresponds to an unpublished research study. No clinical reports will be considered.
For further selection during our EFORT 2020 Congress, each selected Best National Paper should be transmitted to EFORT through the online abstract submission platform which will be specifically open in this sense, from Monday 09 to Friday 20 December 2019, 23:59 CET.
Authors of each selected Best National Paper should adhere to the EFORT standards and fulfil our abstract requirements, available at https://congress.efort.org/abstracts-information
The complete guidelines for the Best National Paper presentation during our upcoming 21st EFORT Vienna Congress are included in the attached document. Please consult them carefully and if you need any additional information, do not hesitate to contact us.
We thank you in advance for helping us to provide high quality science to the Orthopaedics & Trauma community and we are looking forward to receive the feedback of your society regarding its interest in participating to this new project with us. Therefore, please let us know by 30 of September if your society will be willing to submit a paper or not.
With our best regards,
