The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) is pleased to announce the 13th EFORT Masterclass in Arthroplasty Surgery, which will take place on 11–13 December 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece, under the presidency of Professor Eleftherios Tsiridis.

EFORT Meets Education is a new initiative designed to connect Europe's exceptional orthopaedic education landscape into a single learning community, with this year MAST13 in Thessaloniki serving as its very first course.

This new EFORT's led educational platform, aims to provide, to established regional and specialty courses, a broader European stage while maintaining their core identities, guided by five key pillars:

Scientific rigour, Honest discussion on complications, A critical view of innovation, Diverse European perspectives, and Mentorship for young specialists. This year's MAST13 | Masterclass Current Concepts in Advanced Arthroplasty Surgery, introduces a unique format: short, TED-style presentations followed by clinically oriented discussions. The MAST13 faculty brings together 85 international speakers from around the world, among the leading hip and knee arthroplasty surgeons, most of them members of the International Hip Society (IHS) and the International Knee Society (IKS).
